PhRMA supports reforms aimed at providing the American public with access to health care and addressing the burden of disease, health care costs and quality gaps. PhRMA's Board of Directors approved Principles on the Uninsured to establish a set of blue prints for improving access to health insurance for all Americans. Additionally, PhRMA developed the PPA program which has matched over 5 million uninsured and underinsured patients with patient assistance programs.
